“The thinking behind Pete Sharma Associates is simple. We believe that language teaching is most effective when it offers a blend of 'face-to-face' along with technology-enhanced support. We also believe that language teachers need hands-on training in using the current range of hardware and software. What we offer, therefore, are 'blended' courses for teachers, teacher trainers, Directors of studies and academic managers who wish to gain confidence and competence in using new technology to support their teaching.”
Participants on the Blended Learning course join for a residential weekend in order to gain hands-on experience of using hardware and software that can be used in teaching ESL and ESP. They complete a pre-course task and a follow-up task before receiving a Course Completion Certificate. Participants should have basic web and basic IT skills (eg Word and internet navigation ) and, if possible, bring a personal laptop with WiFi to the course (though this is not absolutely necessary).

Our courses are for native and non-native speaker teachers of English as a Foreign Language; teacher trainers: Directors of Studies; academic managers. They are specifically designed for teachers who feel they need to strengthen their knowledge and skills in technology-enhanced language learning.
